Hi Cathie, I really am not able to answer that question medically. I can say from experience, that my triglycerides fell after transitioning to raw till 4 diet from my previous SAD diet. However, I also cut way back on alcohol consumption at the same time, so the lower triglycerides could have been a result of cutting down the alcohol.

Hi. I am seriously considering this way of eating. I have just under 1 year until my wedding and would like to get in better shape and look good for my to be wife. I work a desk job in front of a computer 9-5 with an hour commute to and from work. I play a lot of sport but am just a little concerned that not moving around a lot from 8am till 6pm may not be good for this way of eating. If I exercise before work and follow the diet will it be much of an issue that I am not active between 8am and 6pm?
Coming from a diet consisting of meat and animal products would you detox before doing raw till4 or do you just jump in and start this lifestyle What would you do to prepare your body for this lifestyle

I have to admit I was one of the suckers who got lured into RT4 from all the hype on YT. I was eating shi*loads of fruit and ended up with really bad bloating and gas. I was exercising a lot but still put on weight. My doctor basically said to that a vegan diet is healthy but should be varied like any other diet and eating that much fruit in such concentrated amounts is not a natural way to eat and will cause most people digestion problems.
Ratcliffe calls her diet "frugivorous," though this is a zoological term for species which thrive on a diet consisting mostly of fruit.[8] Her dietary practices are more accurately described as "fruititarian, although she also includes starchy and non-vegetables, and small quantities of nuts and seeds ."[9] Ratcliffe counters arguments against a high carbohydrate diet with examples of and references to the eating habits of the longest surviving Asian cultures. She maintains that a low fat and low salt diet is the key to effectively extracting nutrition from any kind of diet.[10] It is worth noting that traditional Asian cuisine is typically higher in protein, fat, and salt than her suggested diet, with soy based protein, nuts, legumes, cooked cereal grains, seafood, eggs, modest amounts of poultry and pork often being included, as well as the use of heat.[11] She has been featured in publications such as Men's Fitness, Huffington Post, Daily Mail and News.com.au.[5]Her YouTube channel is popular with around 780K+ subscribers and over 330 million views.[12][1] She is also active on other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter where she has amassed a significant following.[13][4][14]
